The Big Fast boats return to Lake Cumberland on Saturday, September 8th for the annual Lake Cumberland Poker Run. Nationally recognized as one of the top 10 Poker Runs in the country, the Lake Cumberland Poker Run attracts boats from all over the country. Spectators by boat or land can view the run between 10:00 and 12:00 CT on the East End of the Lake (between State Dock and Burnside Marina) and from 1:00 to 3:00 CT on the West End (Wolf Creek Marina and Grider Hill Marina). And Boaters, please give these guys plenty of room to run during these hours. Stay on the sides and keep your wake to a minimum as the boats come by. For an up close view of the boats, come on down to Poker Run headquarters at State Dock. The Poker Run is not a race but, boats will be traveling the lake at high speed. Do your part to keep everyone safe. When you hear them coming, please get out of the way and stop and enjoy the show! The entertainment for this weekend begins on Friday night with the amazing Annabelle Road performing some great country hits of their own and some classics. Saturday night the State Dock is rocking with the Caught Red Handed Band. Both nights there will be a DJ playing some major dance hits on the dance floor at the other end of the marina at the same time. There is a $20 admission fee for each evening after 6:00pm. You must be 21 yrs. of age to attend the parties at State Dock on Friday and Saturday evenings.
